Mark Isherwood was first elected as a Welsh Conservative Member for North Wales in 2003, before being re-elected in 2007, 2011, and 2016. He is now the Chair of the Public Accounts and Public Administration Committee in the Senedd
Mark has been selected by Delyn Association members as the candidate for the Senedd Election in May 2021 and by North Wales members as the lead Welsh Conservative candidate for the North Wales region.
Mark is committed to:

- Supporting local business recovery, jobs, skills, livelihoods, and investment.
His previous Shadow Ministerial positions include Local Government, Housing, Communities, Europe, Armed Forces, Education, and North Wales. He Chairs Cross Party Groups on Disability, Autism, Neurological Conditions, Hospices and Palliative Care, Funerals and Bereavement, Fuel Poverty, and Energy Efficiency, and Co-Chairs the Cross Party Group on Violence Against Women and Children, in the Senedd/Welsh Parliament.
Mark lives in Flintshire with wife Hilary. They have six children and four grandchildren.
A former Treuddyn Community Councillor, School Governor (and Chair) of Ysgol Parc y Llan and voluntary Housing Association Board Member, Mark was previously as a former Building Society Area Manager in North Wales.
